Security lapse: 78 private school heads booked

PESHAWAR:
At least 78 administrators of various educational institutions have been arrested on charges of failing to maintain foolproof security arrangements in and around their campuses. While talking to The Express Tribune on Monday, a police official said, “Police teams are carrying out inspection in educational institutes and have booked the heads of those schools whose security is found unsatisfactory.” He added, “This week we have registered 78 FIRs.” Meanwhile, SSP Operations Dr Mian Saeed issued a warning to the heads of the schools saying, “Cases will be lodged against the principals of educational institutions whose campuses lack proper security arrangements.”
