Government Postings: ‘SC orders must be implemented’

Chief secretary Ejaz Ali Khan, irrigation secretary Zaheer Haider Shah and others were present during the meeting

KARACHI: Sindh chief secretary Muhammad Siddique Memon has directed the relevant officials to submit certificates regarding the compliance or non-compliance of the Supreme Court orders related to absorption, out-of-turn promotions, upgradation, abolition of posts and deputations, including re-employment. Memon was chairing a review meeting of the provincial secretaries and heads of the attached departments on Monday, according to a statement. He noted that facts and figures must be actualised in the form of certificates within two days. He made it clear that a true depiction of the state of the order’s implementation must be given. Anti-Corruption Establishment chairperson Mumtaz Ali Shah, additional home chief secretary Muhammad Waseem, additional local bodies’ chief secretary Ejaz Ali Khan, irrigation secretary Zaheer Haider Shah and others were present during the meeting.
