It was a one-man show at the National Stadium as Aizaz Cheema picked up 14 wickets in the match to help PIA qualify for the final after an emphatic win over Karachi Blues in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy.
The fast-bowler took seven for 45 as PIA dismissed Karachi for 100 in the second-innings to win by an innings and 16 runs. Cheema, who was the destroyer-in-chief as the Blues made a paltry 146 in the first-innings before PIA responded with 262, took his fourth 10-wicket haul in first-class cricket.
PIA finished the league stage with five wins in 11 matches and will now face HBL in the final from January 13 at the National Stadium.
