Liquor recovery: Case against Odho pushed to Dec 19

Two bottles of liquor were recovered from her luggage

Hearing into a liquor recovery case against former film actress Atiqa Odho has been adjourned till December 19. The case could not be heard on Saturday due to lawyers’ strike. The court has also summoned the prosecution witnesses at the next hearing. Odho, a former member of Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s All Pakistan Muslim League, was detained at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport by customs and security officials on June 5, 2011, after two bottles of liquor were recovered from her luggage.
