KARACHI: Police official Rao Anwar has again been appointed as the Malir SSP on Friday. He has replaced SSP Dr Najeeb Khan with a transfer notification issued on the same day. “I have [been appointed to] my [previous] position,” told Anwar to The Express Tribune. He was transferred from Malir in May after holding a controversial press conference. Earlier, Anwar was assigned by the Sindh IG to lead an investigation team probing the case of police officials martyred in targeted killings in the city.
