Punishment: Death sentence awarded for murder

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge awarded death sentence on Friday to a man involved in the killing of a youth. In 2009, Shafiqabad police had registered an FIR against Mansoor Ahmed under Section 302 (murder) of the Pakistan Penal Code for killing one Imran. He has also been fined Rs200,000. He will have to undergo one year imprisonment in case he fails to pay the fine.
