Free Education: AIOU to facilitate prisoners study

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will provide educational facilities to the prisoners in jail. Free education would be provided to the prisoners in jails. Sources told APP that Vice Chancellor Dr Shahid Siddiqui is taking keen interest in the promotion of education system being extended by qualified and experienced staff of the varsity. The plan to facilitate prisoners with quality education would be implemented in collaboration with the jail authorities in light of the guidelines provided by the Wafaqi Mohtasib.
