NBF Welfare Scheme: Free books for visually impaired

The Braille Press has printed/reprinted so far about 77,704 copies

ISLAMABAD:
The National Book Foundation (NBF) is providing books to the visually impaired persons, almost free of cost across the country. The books include the Holy Quran with Urdu translation, Bang-e-Dara, Bal-e-Jabriel along with over 108 other publications of national importance. An official of NBF told APP that under the welfare oriented scheme, the Foundation is providing educational material to visually impaired people almost free of cost. He said it would enable them to positively contribute in the country’s development. The Braille Press has printed/reprinted so far about 77,704 copies of 1038 titles/volumes consisting of 100 pages of each volume.
