No damages: 7.1-magnitude tremor jolts K-P

A 7.1 magnitude earthquake shook Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Monday creating panic among the people across the province. Officials of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the earthquake struck at 12:30pm while its depth was 88 kilometres. Its epicentre was Tajikistan, but the tremors were felt across the K-P, Fata and Punjab, said an official. “As the epicentre of the earthquake is in Tajikistan, it did not cause any damage in Pakistan,” he added. He said there were no reports of damage from any area.
