Jhelum Factory Burning Incident: 17 suspects given into police custody
The ATCs on Monday recorded witness statements in 13 other cases as well

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday awarded four-day physical remand to 17 suspects for rioting and torching a factory in Jhelum. Another 52 suspects in the case have been sent to Adiala Jail on judicial remand. The suspects were brought from Jhelum to the court amid tight security on Monday. A mob had blocked the GT Road and set fire to a chip board factory in Jhelum on November 20 after a factory staffer was accused by another staffer of burning pages of the Holy Quran.
