For women faculty: Day-care for NUML staff launched
The centre has a capacity to house up to 25 babies at a time

National University of Modern Languages (NUML) Rector Maj Gen (retd) Ziauddin Najam on Thursday inaugurated a Day Care Centre at the varsity. The rector said the number of women staff at the university was rapidly increasing; out of 508 faculty members, more than 275 were women, most with infants. Therefore, the establishment of the centre was necessary to improve the performance of these young faculty members, so that they may teach children with dedication, Najam said. The centre has a capacity to house up to 25 babies at a time, with a playing area, sleeping space, washroom and kitchen.
