First Yemeni woman Nobel Prize laureate in Islamabad
President says Tawakkol Karman, Malala Yousufzai role model for youth

The president stated this while talking to Nobel Peace Laureate Tawakkol Abdel-Salam Karman, who along with a delegation called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
Tawakkol Karman is a Yemeni journalist and human rights activist. She is a co-recipient of the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize, becoming the first Yemeni, the first Arab woman, and the second Muslim woman to win a Nobel Prize and the second youngest Nobel Peace Laureate to date.
President Mamnoon said that Karman, one of the youngest Nobel laureates, was a representative of youth and women. “Karman and Malala Yousafzai are role models for youth,” he said.
