In custody: Man held for sexually abusing teenager
Mehboob was presented before a judicial magistrate and has been sent on a two-day police remand
DI KHAN:
A man was arrested for sexually abusing a teenage girl in DI Khan. An official of Band Kurai police station said the accused has been identified as Mehboob. “The incident occurred on November 30 in Wanda Solhan village of Paharpur tehsil,” he said. “Mehboob has been accused of raping a 14-year-old girl who was suffering from a disability. He lived in her neighbourhood.” An FIR had been registered against the incident. “According to the girl, Mehboob entered her house at night and sexually abused her,” the official said. “Police determined his whereabouts and arrested him. Mehboob was presented before a judicial magistrate and has been sent on a two-day police remand.”
