Pwo rally: Tributes paid to pilot Mariam Mukhtar

The Pak Welfare Organisation (PWO) held a rally on Sunday to pay tribute to pilot Mariam Mukhtar who died in a Pakistan Air Force aircraft crash near Kundian in Mianwali district on November 24. The rally was attended by civil society members and journalists who gathered outside Peshawar Press Club holding banners and placards to show respect and admiration to the pilot. On the occasion, PWO President Sadia Fayaz said Mariam Mukhtar was the brave daughter of Pakistan. The participants demanded the government to award Nishan-e-Haider to Mariam Mukhar for her bravery.
