Foiled Attempt: CTD arrests three militants

KOHAT: The counter-terrorism department (CTD) reportedly foiled a terrorism attempt and arrested three militants on Saturday in Jarma Pull area on the outskirts of Kohat. Acting on an intelligence tip, CTD carried out a search operation in the area and arrested three militants with 19,900 kilogrammes of explosives in their possession. The arrested persons were identified as Imran, son of Dost Muhammad, Ali Khan, son of Sawat Khan and Farid, son of Sultan Muhammad. The detainees were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation. An FIR was registered and investigation is under way.
