Pakistani cueists maintained their winning streak in the ongoing IBSF World Individual Championship as Shahram Changezi won his second group match, beating Egypt’s Mohamed Hemdan 4-1 in Hurghada, Egypt.


Changezi was off to a good start, winning the first frame with ease before clinching the next one with a difference of just four points. Hemdan then hit back in the third frame, cutting the Islamabad-based cueist’s lead down to 2-1.


However, Changezi refused to give in as he won back-to-back frames to seal victory by overall scores of 73-0 (67), 69-65, 45-67, 106-16, 70-56.


Meanwhile, Mohammad Sajjad and Mohammad Asif had won both their respective group matches till the filing of this report, while Abdul Sattar had also triumphed 4-0 in his match.
