Pakistan’s Ali sisters reach quarter-finals at German Junior Open
Mahnoor Ali defeated Rafaela Guidoni 11-4, 11-4, 11-7

Pakistan’s Ali sisters have reached the quarter-finals of the German Junior Open Squash Championship 2026, following strong performances in the second round of the tournament.
Mahnoor Ali defeated Rafaela Guidoni 11-4, 11-4, 11-7, while Sehrish Ali overcame Neria Sastre 11-6, 11-2, 11-2 to secure their places in the quarter-finals. Mahnoor is set to face an Egyptian opponent, while Sehrish will take on a German rival.
Their third sister, Mehwish Ali, was also scheduled to represent Pakistan but missed her flight due to road blockades and protests in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while travelling from Rawalpindi to Peshawar after winning the National Women’s Junior Squash Championship. Her absence prevented her from participating in the international event.
The sisters’ strong showings highlight Pakistan’s growing presence in international junior squash, reinforcing hopes for continued success on the global stage.
