High-Profile Murders: Two suspects held for targeted killing

QUETTA: Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti on Tuesday said that two suspects involved in targeted killing of senior journalist Irshad Ahmed Mastoi and his two colleagues have been arrested in Quetta. “The two terrorists were involved in 27 murder cases and attacks on the convoy of security forces in Quetta,” he said. The home minister also presented a video clip of an arrested criminal in which he is shown confessing to killing journalist Mastoi and others while looking at the camera. “These Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) killers were involved in the assassination of Balochistan National Party (BNP) general secretary Habib Jalib Baloch,” Sarfaraz Bugti said. The two suspects were identified as Shafqat Ali Rohdini alias Naveed, a resident of Khuzdar, and Mohammad Ibraheem, alias Shah Jee.
