Due to the lack of facilities in the government hospitals and high consultation fee of private doctors, the poor living in the slums and in far flung areas are dependent on the quacks which helps their business flourish. By visiting these clinics, the poor get consultation and medicines for cheaper price and the quacks take advantage of them.
