Murder mystery: Two arrested for murder

LAHORE:

CIA police arrested two people on Saturday for killing a man. Abdul Rasheed had gone missing in 2013. Police said they had arrested Rasheed’s wife Razia and a man named Akram for his murder. “Razia and Akram had wanted to marry each other.

However, Razia’s parents married her to Rasheed. Later, they planned to murder Rasheed. Razia asked Rasheed to take her to her parents’ home. On the way, they stopped near the BRB Canal where Akram was hiding. He strangled Rasheed with Razia’s help. They then dumped the body in the canal,” police said. Razia told her family that Rasheed had gone missing when they were visiting a shrine, police said.
