The district police on Friday announced scholarships for children of policemen who had performed well in the Secondary School Certificate examinations.


Constable Liaqat Ali’s son Mohiuddin Khan had secured 1,060 marks in the SSC exam. Constable Muhammad Anwar’s son Muzammil Shah had secured 1,039 marks. Deceased constable Fajar Ali’s son Qaisar Abbas secured 988 marks. Constable Muhammad Bux’s daughter Ishrat Perveen scored 982 marks and Constable Muhammad Ismael’s daughter Mahnoor Ismael secured 927 marks.
