The paramilitary Frontier Corps, Balochistan (FC) on Monday recovered explosives and weapons from a hideout of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants in the Gat Killi area of Zhob district of Balochistan.

TTP presence has been reported in Zhob a number of times due to its proximity with South Waziristan and Afghanistan.

According to FC spokesman, security forces with the collaboration of an intelligence agency carried out a search operation in Gat Killi on a report about existence of TTP hideout in a desolate hilly area.

However, the FC found the hideout vacant and no arrests were made. The troops seized a rocket propelled grenade launcher (RPG) with four rockets, one light machine gun, explosives, 20 batteries of IEDs, two voltage motor, four fuses, 10 detonators, 10 silicon tubes, a remote and 800 meters of electric wire.
