Eid gifts distributed among 150 women

SARGODHA:

The Social Welfare Department on Monday distributed Eid gifts among 150 women from low-income families living in Nowshera Wadiye Soon.

The ceremony was presided over by provincial assembly member Javed Iqbal Awan. Social Welfare EDO Nabila Khan was also present. The women were given clothes and bangles. The MPA also gave Eidi to these women from his own pocket. Addressing participants, Awan said underprivileged sections of the society should not be forgotten.  “Distribution of economic opportunities should equitable,” he said.
