KARACHI:

A witness identified a Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker, Umair Siddiqi, as the main shooter in a murder case, on Monday.

Siddiqi, the alleged ringleader of a target killing cartel, has been accused of killing a man named Hussain Gabol, near Mubina town police station in 2012.

The alleged suspect was brought to a district East judicial magistrate court amid tight security for the identification process. He was lined up along with the dummy suspects and the eyewitness, whose identity has been concealed for security reasons, was asked to identify the shooter.

The process was repeated thrice, each time with a different arrangement as required by the law. The witness identified Siddiqi all three times.

The universe should be ashamed of itself for conspiring against Bhai.
