KARACHI: As Ramazan gets into full swing, many designers have begun focusing their attention on Eid collections. Zara Shahjahan is the one of the most recent to have launched her Eid Lawn 2015 line for the season, according to a press release. The collection is available at retailers across the country, the brand’s flagship stores in Karachi and Lahore, and its e-portal.

The range comprises eight designs that feature experimental jungle prints in a dynamic colour palette with pastel undertones. All the pieces have been embellished with ethereal embroideries, except for two that make use of Swarovski Elements, adding luxury, exclusivity and sophistication to the trendy outfits.

Eid Lawn is available in unstitched three-piece suits, priced between Rs6,595 and Rs8,595. Speaking about the line, Shahjahan said, “With this collection, I feel we have achieved the perfect marriage of practicality and elegance and I look forward to sharing the collection with our patrons this summer.”

The label’s latest offering has been designed, produced and manufactured entirely at the design house. “With Eid falling in the hot summer months, it was important for us to create a collection of fashionable Eid apparel, which is comfortable to wear and has the sophistication to be worn at Eid gatherings and festive occasions,” said Shahjahan.

The designer has come to be known as an established name in bridal couture, high-street fashion, luxury prêt and lawn. With her unique fashion aesthetics that focus on individuality, femininity and sophistication, she has made her way to runways in Karachi and Lahore at key fashion shows, including PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week and Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week held recently. She has also shown in countries, such as India and the United Kingdom.
