Fatemi urges South Asian countries to improve their relations for peace in the region

ISLAMABAD: PM’s Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs urges South Asian countries to improve their relations for peace in region.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi in an interview has said that Pakistan wants to maintain good relations with all neighbouring countries.

“Pakistan wants good relations with all neighboring countries and has always given preference to resolve issues through dialogue,” he said.

During the interview, Fatemi urged the South Asian countries to improve their relations for peace in the region.

Further, he said that top political and military leadership have expressed strong reaction over Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statements about Pakistan during his visit to Bangladesh.

Fatemi also stated that Parliament has adopted a resolution strongly condemning Modi remarks.
