Crackdown: Explosives recovered from Shabqadar

SHABQADAR: Security forces recovered a cache of explosives from a factory in Shabqadar on Friday. Police officials told The Express Tribune, security forces along with local police received an intelligence report. As a result, they conducted search operations and cordoned off various parts of Shabqadar. A suspicious-looking bag was found in a local factory in Mansuka. The bomb disposal unit was called in and recovered 50 kilogrammes of explosives from the bag. Furthermore, 60kg of dynamite, four improvised explosive devices, 11 hand grenades, 20 batteries, three remote controls and a 50 yard prima card were also confiscated.
