Explosives defused: Scouts, police foil terror bid

UPPER DIR: In a joint operation, Dir Scouts and Gandigar police neutralised two explosives planted along the Dir-Peshawar Road. Forces acted upon intelligence information and located the hidden explosives near a police checkpoint. Both the bombs, weighing 2.5 kilogrammes in all, were defused. Two batteries attached to them were also dismantled.
