LAHORE:

The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) on Sunday deputed 16 newly-recruited subject specialists (SS) at partner schools in 10 districts.

According to a statement issued by the PEF, they will teach science, mathematics and English to students. “These schools are partnered with the foundation under its Subject Based Support Programme (SBSP). It was launched to provide master degree-holder subject specialists to help improve the academic standards of these low-cost schools,” the statement said.

An orientation session was held at the PEF head office to train the subject specialists.

PEF Managing Director Aneela Salman congratulated the teachers and hoped that they would work hard to give quality education to their students.
