KARACHI:

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) discipline committee has imposed a four-match ban on right-handed batsman Faisal Iqbal in the domestic season following his indiscipline during the Pentangular Cup in January, informed the PCB on Tuesday.

Iqbal left the stadium when he was dropped in the Pentangular Cup match between Sindh Knights and Punjab Badshahs at the National Stadium of Karachi, which led to the PCB’s discipline committee taking action against him.

The batsman will not be able to represent Karachi Dolphins in the Super Eight T20, which is scheduled to begin on May 11, unless Dolphins progress to the final after playing three group matches and the semi-final.
