Nabbed: Murder suspect rearrested after 20 years

A murder case was registered against Khan

A murder suspect was rearrested by police on Sunday. He had escaped from custody 20 years ago.


According to Sakhi Sarwar SHO Liaquat Ali, Sher Khan was arrested from Quetta. “He had been living in Jinnah Town, Quetta under an assumed name. We received a tip-off about him. A police team was sent to Quetta and arrested Khan,” he said.


A murder case was registered against Khan at Sakhi Sarwar police station in 1995. He broke out of the lock-up soon after he was taken into custody.
