High achievers: Beaconhouse students awarded

Former MNA Shehnaz Wazir Ali was the chief guest

LAHORE: More than 700 high achievers of O-and-A Level and matriculation examinations were given awards at a ceremony organised by Beaconhouse School System’s North Region. More than 1,500 students and their parents attended the function at the Convention Centre, Islamabad. Former MNA Shehnaz Wazir Ali was the chief guest. Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf MNA Asad Umer, physicist Pervez Hoodbhoy and ambassadors of Bangladesh, Belgium, Indonesia, Malaysia, Oman, Philippines, Thailand, the UAE and UK were also present. Students from the 2013-14 batch were presented awards for their performance in curricular and extra-curricular activities. Beaconhouse Executive Director Nasir Kasuri praised the high achievers. Shehnaz Wazir Ali urged students to become responsible Pakistanis.
