National development: ‘Teachers hold the key’

It included sessions by master trainers featuring modern educational trends, strategies and communication skills

LAHORE: Education Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan said on Friday teachers had an important role to play for the country’s progress. He was speaking at the closing ceremony of the third phase of a short in-service training of college teachers, organised by the University of Education and the Higher Education Department (HED). The minister said education was the key to the challenges of poverty, corruption and terrorism. The 10-day training session had been arranged for more than 200 teachers from colleges across the province. It included sessions by master trainers featuring modern educational trends, strategies and communication skills.
