Appointment: PMDC gets new acting registrar

ISLAMABAD: Dr Sameer Qurashi on Friday took charge as acting registrar of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. According to a press release, he has been given this post till a full-time registrar is appointed. Meanwhile, Dr Amjad Mehmood, who was serving as the PMDC registrar, has been sent back to his parent department, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims). Dr Mehmood was on deputation from CADD and requested to be released from the post as he is due for promotion.
