Condolence: Qatari ambassador meets CM

The ambassador expressed sorrow over the loss of lives in the attack in Youhanabad.

LAHORE: Ambassador of Qatar in Pakistan Saqr bin Mubarak Muhammad Saqr Al-Mansouri met Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday.  The ambassador expressed sorrow over the loss of lives in the attack in Youhanabad. Referring to Pak-Qatar relations, Sharif said new avenues for cooperation had opened up between the two countries.  He said Qatar’s cooperation in energy, skilled manpower, agriculture and other sectors was commendable.  He said the government valued its relations with Qatar.  He said there were vast opportunities for investment in Pakistan. He said the provincial government was providing facilities to foreign investors on priority basis. He said that Pakistan and Qatar should promote collaboration in energy, human resource development and agriculture.  Al-Mansouri said the government and people of Qatar wanted to promote trade relations between the two countries.
