Newborn kidnapped from Jinnah Hospital

Police have registered a case and are analysing CCTV footage to track the culprit

LAHORE: A newborn child was kidnapped from the Jinnah hospital late on Tuesday night.

Garden Town police said that according to the child’s father, Muhamad Iftikhar, a woman dressed as a nurse allegedly took the child from the family and later disappeared.

Police said they have registered an FIR over the child’s disappearance. Further, officials said they were analyzing footage from a Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) camera installed at the hospital to identify the suspect.
