Behind bars: Police round up 51 in search operation

Shahzad Town police and Loi Bher police booked Shahid Ali and Nadeem respectively in theft cases.

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 51 suspects during search operation in various areas of the city. The search operations were carried out in the limits of Margalla, Shalimar, Ramna, Tarnol, Golra, and Nilore police stations. The police teams arrested 51 suspects who are being interrogated. Meanwhile, the police also arrested nine suspects from different areas and recovered narcotics and looted items from them. Sabzi Mandi police arrested a suspected drug pusher Kabeer in possession of 1.3 kilogramme hashish. Looted items were recovered from the possession of Zeeshan, Fahad and Kabeer, who are being interrogated. Kohsar police arrested a woman for her alleged involvement in a theft case. Nilore police arrested Mahz and Temur for decanting gas in cylinders illegally. Shahzad Town police and Loi Bher police booked Shahid Ali and Nadeem respectively in theft cases. Cases have been registered against all the suspects.
