Public education: Rs45 million released for 77 Bhakkar schools

The provincial government on Friday released Rs45 million rupees for renovation of 77 public schools in Bhakkar.


District Coordination Officer Zaman Wattoo told The Express Tribune that 68 high schools and nine elementary schools would be renovated.

Education Executive District Officer Mian Muhammad Ismaeel said each school would be given at least Rs400,000 to purchase missing facilities.

He said the total amount could vary depending on the needs of a school and the number of students enrolled there.
