Orderly room: Action taken against delinquent policemen

Constable dismissed for unexplained absence.

LAHORE: Operations DIG Haider Ashraf took disciplinary against several police officials on Thursday while chairing the orderly room.

Constable Rashid Al Khairi was dismissed from service from unexplained absence, the service of Inspector Ghulam Abbas was forfeited by 30 months for failing to curb crime and incidence of kite-flying, Millat Park SHO Ghulam Bari by six months for registering a case without establishing its veracity, Township SHO Sibtain Shah for submitted a bogus raid diary, Johar Town SHO Pasha Imran by six months for failing to curb crime and Racecourse Women SHO Bushra Aziz by 12 months.



DIG Ashraf also stopped Shah and Abbas’s increments for one year. He also fined Imran Rs10,000, Liaquatabad SHO Zulfikar Bhutta Rs10,000 for the delayed registration of an FIR, SI Liaquat Ali Rs10,000 for not attending a departmental course and the orderly room, ASI Shahid Hussain Rs3,000 for unexplained absence, SI Muhammad Afzal Rs5,000 for not attending the orderly room and ASI Muhammad Yunus Rs3,000 for unexplained absence.
