KARACHI: Parts of Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh will remain foggy in morning hours over the next two to three days, Pakistan Meteorological Department forecast stated on Tuesday morning.

According to the advisory, Motorway M3 (Pindi Bhattian-Faisalabad), sectors of Motorway M2 (Islamabad-Lahore), and one sector of Motorway M1 (Peshawar-Islamabad) will experience dense fog.

The N-5 National Highway was also affected by fog, with Kharian to Lahore, Lahore to Multan, and Multan to Rahim Yar Khan covered in dense fog, while Rahim Yar Khan to Sukkur experiencing moderate to dense fog.

The Lahore-Peshawar motorway had only 10 to 30 meters of visibility, Express News reported.

On Motorway M-1, from Peshawar to Sawabi, there was only 10 meters of visibility, while visibility on M-2 between Lahore and Islamabad is 10 to 30 meters.

IG Motorway has instructed drivers to use alternative roads instead of the Motorway. Owing to very low visibility Motorway M-3 was shut down.
