KARACHI:

Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STPP) leader Dr Qadir Magsi has said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement's demand for a separate province in Sindh will trigger a battle between the 50 million people of Sindh and a group working on an international agenda to create 'anarchy' in the country.

Addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club on Wednesday, he said: "Not only a two-third majority in the Sindh Assembly, even a two-third majority in the parliament cannot bifurcate Sindh." Magsi appealed to the Urdu-speaking people living in Karachi and other districts of the province to join hands against the MQM, which, he claimed, tends to create more division between the Sindhi and Urdu-speaking people.
