NORTH WAZIRISTAN: An unmanned US drone aircraft fired four missiles at a militant compound in Pakistan's North Waziristan region on the Afghan border on Sunday, killing at least six militants, local intelligence officials said.

Express 24/7 correspondent Iftikhar Firdous reported that missiles were fired at the house of Abdur Rehman in village Khaddi in Tehsil Mirali, and four militants were killed. Local sources said there may be foreigners amongst the casualties but this has not been verified by officials.

The bodies have been burnt beyond recognition but officials have confirmed two as militants.
