Police on claimed Monday to have arrested members of two gangs involved in motorcycle theft and street muggings.
DPO Sarfraz Ahmad Falki said a team led by Saddar Circle DSP Riaz Hussain Bukhari arrested Muhammad Faisal and Muhammad Usman in a raid late on Sunday night and recovered two motorbikes, a watch, cell phones, a pistol and Rs37,000.
He said the men had confessed to several robberies.Separately, Sama Satta police arrested Muhammad Shakir and Muhammad Ejaz and recovered three motorbikes, a pistol and Rs200,000. They said the men had confessed to several cases of motorbike theft.
Musafir Khana police have arrested Shaukat Ali and recovered three motorbikes.
