Three shops destroyed due to the blast

SHABQADAR: A blast inside a Shabqadar bazaar on Saturday destroyed three shops dealing in cellphones and injured a child.

A police official at the Shabqadar police station confirmed the incident.

The injured boy was identified as Sajid Khan, who worked at a nearby hotel. He was shifted to a hospital to receive treatment and was discharged shortly.

No loss of life was reported.

Shortly after the blast, the police cordoned off the area, and summoned the bomb disposal squad to identify the nature of the explosion.
