Siddiqui was addressing a press conference in Karachi on Monday.
“Whatever MQM has, it will utilise it to help out the drought victims in Thar,” Siddiqui said.
Further, Siddiqui lamented that the situation in Thar is “very very serious.”
During the press conference, Siddiqui also appealed to the people to reach out to the victims and help them out. He added that the water in Thar is “poisonous.”
“We request all the concerned authorities to go and check the situation over there,” he urged.
Siddiqui said the Sindh government is neglecting the situation in Thar and is not doing anything about the rehabilitation of the drought victims.
“We went to Thar, and we felt the sorrow and hurt the people there are suffering from.”
