NOWSHERA: A woman and her daughter allegedly killed a student of Khushal Khan Khattak Government College at the main gate of the college on Tuesday. Akora Khattak police SHO Nasim Khan said they received information about a first-year intermediate student having been shot dead by two women near the college’s gate, after which police rushed to the site and arrested both accused women. A pistol was also recovered from their possession. Khan said Basnul Huda and her daughter Niaz Pari confessed to the crime during initial interrogation, saying the deceased student, Hazrat Mir, had killed Huda’s son Qari Yaseen sometime ago. Huda said they killed Mir to avenge her son’s murder. Police registered a case against both women on the complaint of the deceased’s relative Janat Gul, a resident of Goharabad in Akora Khattak.
