Law enforcement: Rangers DG assures police of full cooperation

Akbar, besides appreciating the police efforts to curb crime, assured his full cooperation with the department.

The new director-general of the Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, Major General Bilal Akbar has assured the police of full cooperation in the Karachi Operation.


He asked the police personnel not to hesitate from taking action against the criminals. Akbar was speaking on his first visit to the Central Police Office on Monday, where he met Karachi Additional IGP Ghulam Qadir Thebo.

According to the Karachi police spokesperson, Akbar, besides appreciating the police efforts to curb crime, assured his full cooperation with the department.

He reiterated that the police must work freely against the criminals in Karachi and should not hesitate from asking for help from the paramilitary force in their common aim to provide a safe and secure living environment to citizens. He was also briefed on several successful operations recently conducted by the Karachi Police.
