KARACHI:

For the eighth consecutive day, the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf continued their sit-in in the city.

On Wednesday, party workers, activists and supporters gathered at Sea View and at Mazaar-e-Quaid. Like their chief Imran Khan, the protesters refused to budge on the insisted of the resignation of Nawaz Sharif, and demanded that he leaves his office. Clad in a green shirt, Mirza Junaid, a student of Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture said that they wanted new leaders like Imran Khan to become the Prime Minister. "For years we have had dishonest rulers like Nawaz Sharif who only care about making money," he said. "It is time for Imran Khan."

For the past week, Lubna Butt and her sister Fozia have been bringing their daughters to the sit-in. "Obviously we want Nawaz Sharif to go," they said. "What has he given us? When he goes away and there are re-elections, things will also improve in Karachi."

The protesters, who were few in number, said that they had high hopes that Imran Khan will succeed in making Nawaz Sharif resign. "He is sitting there for us," said Mir Daad Khanzada. "The Kaptaan will not lose."

Similar to every sit-in, a projector screen has been set up to telecast Imran Khan's live speeches.  At the mazaar, the second spot where the protesters were gathered, people were shouting 'Go Nawaz Go.'

Of course, people dream of their ambitions, but too much dreams cause paranoid schizophrenia. The followers of Imran Khan and Qadri dreaming too much. Imran claimed that his march would attract one million people but sadly there are only thirty thousand people. They also vanish if their food bill is not paid by Imran and Qadri.
