Balochistan unrest: FC seizes cache of arms and ammunition

Three suspects were detained during the raids

QUETTA: The paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) seized a huge quantity of arms and ammunition on Wednesday in two separate search operations in Quetta and Chagai districts on Wednesday.

Three suspects were also detained during the raids carried out in New Khan, on the outskirt of Quetta, and Dalbadin in Chagai district.



Provincial Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti said that the search operations were conducted on a tip-off in the early hours of Wednesday.

Giving details of the Dalbadin raid, he said the FC troops recovered 11 small machineguns, 40 magazines, 250 rounds, 14 Kalashnikovs, three pistols, two 9mms and its rounds and other explosive material.

While during the search operation in the New Khan area FC personnel recovered rocket launchers, at least 77 anti-personal mines, 58 hand grenades, 12 RPG7 and small guns and materials used for subversive activities.

Well done

The root of the problem is RAW backed terror groups operating out of Afghanistan.

We need to address this and their support netowrk in baluchsistan especially through the fake Afghan "refugees"
