Unabated: Dengue count rises to 88

With six new cases of dengue fever reported in Swat on Tuesday, the district’s count reached 88 for this year.

MINGORA: With six new cases of dengue fever reported in Swat on Tuesday, the district’s count reached 88 for this year. According to Roshan Ali, the focal person for the dengue unit at Saidu Teaching Hospital, Nighat Bibi, 35, Zarmina, 15, Shamim Akhtar, 45, Fazal Khaliq, 30, and Hayat Shah, 35, residents of Faizabad, along with Amina, 24, a resident of Sethi Mills Mohallah , were brought to STH and admitted after testing positive for dengue fever. “A total of eleven patients, seven females and four males, are being treated in the hospital while 77 patients have been discharged after recovering completely,” said Ali.
